i have heard people now set up **live cameras** in their homes …cameras they can view from just about anywhere with their cell phones and/or a computer

i am looking for a set up at a LOW price. i looked into a low price motorola system about 5 years ago but the system was not really perfected at that time

thanks to everyone who posts or trys to post an answer
EXCELLENT answers so far
to be more specific what i am looking for: (I have begun to look into frontpoint ;)

WHAT I CAN AFFORD:
i would like to have a camera aimed across a room at my front door. i want to be able to use my cellphone to ‘call home’ at anytime and just see what is going on at home in real time.

WHAT I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD AT THIS TIME:
Of course i would like to have a camera that calls me when motion is detected and i can look at the reason why. and/or have a camera detect motion and call the cops and me..or just the cops

Is this a good deal for $800?

Noticed it in the parking attendant building at the entrance to the resort. Just wondering what they’re doing with that? I know that ‘Disney sees all’ but that one threw me off a little.
